Julian Fritz Jakelski
Julian Jakelski is an editor specializing in scripted series, with 13 years of experience across film, television and commercial work.
His recent credits include Netflix’s How to Sell Drugs Online (Fast) and Love & Chaos, as well as ARD Degeto’s All Heroes Are Bastards. He also served as 2D Animation Director on the Disney+ series Pauline, bringing an additional background in animation and visual storytelling to his editorial work.
Over the course of his career, Julian has worked across scripted comedy and drama, entertainment, documentary and advertising. His work includes two Grimme Award-winning productions, Germany’s highest television honor — both produced at btf in Cologne.
With a strong focus on performance, rhythm and visual storytelling, he is particularly drawn to character-driven projects that balance comedy, emotion and a distinctive visual language.
Based between Canada and Europe and available for projects internationally.
